‘Cruel’ NMC should be investigated for how it treats nurses like me
Nurse suspended by the Nursing and Midwifery Council links regulator’s ‘cruel’ approach to fitness to practise referrals with suicides of registrants under investigation. She calls for a public inquiry into how the NMC conducts FtP process. NMC accepts investigations can be distressing but says is getting better at resolving them more quickly.
