What does drop in overseas nurse recruits mean for your workplace?
Recruitment of nurses from overseas to the UK is falling, with the numbers registering with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) hitting a five-year low. NHS employers are now shifting emphasis to domestically educated recruits for band 5 nurse roles.
