Why are so few trusts adopting the new NHS nursing uniform?

As of September 2025, the majority of NHS trusts in England have not adopted the new national uniform for nursing staff, our RCNi survey reveals. Find out which NHS trusts are adopting the new uniform and the reasons why others have not yet rolled it out
